The world's wildlife is being lost up to 10,000 times faster than the natural extinction rate.
We all have an obligation to try and help, not only because the wonderful diversity of wild animals is what makes our world so special, but also because diversity contributes to a functioning ecosystem that supports our livelihoods and well-being.
At Iguana Investments, we believe that capital markets participants have a particularly important role to play in helping the environment. This means helping the wildlife that live such fragile lives within a largely human-dominated environment. We aim to contribute towards this cause in two ways.
Donate 10% to wildlife conservation
Donate 10% of any corporate profits generated to wildlife conservation and research, with a particular initial focus on helping to support and sustain the diversity of fragile ecosystems such as the Galapagos archipelago.
Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance
Second, as an Article 8 (SFDR) fund we are committed to Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) and aim to use our position as an investment manager to not only deliver value for our clients but also to help align the interests of companies in which we invest with those of broader society.
